STATEMENT ON CORONAVIRUS CONCERNS
As the current COVID-19 situation has altered many daily activities and routines. We, at The Great Amazing Race Company, are still planning to host all of our events currently scheduled. Until an event's status is changed on this site, it is not cancelled. We are instituting new hygiene and sanitary measures, as set forth by state and local health officials to ensure the safety of each and every participant, spectator, volunteer, sponsor and staff member. These measures will be taken to insure every participant the most enjoyable experience possible. Here are a few examples of the changes:
TAKING THE TEMPERATURE OF EVERY ATTENDEE
- To ensure the safety of all attendees: any person entering the event area will have their temperature taken via thermal scanner. If over 100.4 degrees, they will be asked to leave and their registration forwarded to a future race.
LIMITING NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
- We will be reducing the number of teams per start time and in each wave.
NEW COURSE LAYOUT & CHALLENGES
- We have created a new master layout that follows social distancing guidelines
These are just a few of the many changes we will be implementing. All previous registrations are automatically forwarded to these new race dates. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the race.
